    Any of you boys going?
I've got my ticket so looking forward to going.
I've never been away to that ground.
    Anyone know what it's like?

On a side note.. every away game seems to be selling out very fast indeed these days.

My mate has shed loads of loyalty points so I'll get to Burton too hopefully.

Have to say the police seem to be a lot more sensible in the Prem (you can mix in pubs with the home fans in the Championship).

There's a green bit in the middle with seats set up around it (if I remember rightly)

Got my ticket and driving down. Never been to Deepdale but it's supposed to be a lovely ground. Preston's a bit of a ****hole from what I've heard. Still, it can't be as bad as Rotherham. What an absolute cesspit of human excrement that dump was.
Have my ticket for Barnsley. Driving down to that one as well. Had to put in a half day at work to get to the Forest game since those wise ****s controlling the TV decided to move the game to a Friday night.

    Also going.

First away game of the season. Not been to Deepdale either but did drive past it many years ago so hopefully know how to get there.

Would add I have a really really really bad away record. Sorry in advance. :(

We should try to meet up chaps (even if inside the ground). I've met Trev and Somb so we should be able to spot each other.

I can always wear my Mustards to help Windy get a lock on... :)

Being a man of the white rose variety I tend to avoid **** holes like Lancashire. That being said, I might sit amongst the rabble and watch us take them to the sword. When do we actually play Preston?

I'll tell you what, Derby is a really nice place and the ground is better than most PL grounds I've been to.

One of the best away days I've been to.

I went to Derby. The Normanton Road area is one massive ****hole. I liked the ground though.

I can remember going to the old Baseball Ground in the 1970's, 1976 I think. Watching us in the quarter finals of the FA Cup. True to my form we lost but the ground and pitch was abysmal and it wasn't until the second half that I realised our first choice keeper wasn't playing because the sun was right in our eyes and we could only see the half of the pitch near us.

Worst ground I've ever been to at that level.

It's alright. Start walking and I'm sure you'll be able to get there in time.

I got hit by a golf ball that game. Getting escorted back to the train, a derby fan hoyed a ball at a mounted copper beside me. I was over the moon as I'd seen him throw it. I followed it as it flew past the copper, hit the wall behind him and rebounded straight into my eye. I've disliked Derby ever since. Not as much as Hereford though.

I've been to the old baseball ground a couple of times
remember getting cups of tea, bovril and piss thrown over us at half time from the Derby fans above
the next season a few of us bought tickets for the seats above and got stuck into the bastards throwing the crap on the fans below
they weren't expecting toon fans in their end <laugh>

I remember that. First they were above where we stood which was down a side. And then we had to get out by going past the side of their end. Double jeopardy.

It wasn't as though they were young hooligans that were in the seats, these were old blokes in their 40's 50's and 60's hoying the stuff down
Also remember having to queue for ages to get in as they only had 3 turnstiles and getting pelted with coins from the right (their end )
another memory I have was going into a bar near the ground needing the toilet, hiding my scarf as not to draw attention to myself only to find that I was the only white person in the bar - stood out like a sore thumb :afro:

I got a parking ticket when I went there in the 09/10 season so it was basically the same.
