Well what a great start for Tammy on his full debut for England under 21, another sniffers goal.

Why? We only play one up front. We need an replacement for him when the time comes not a partner

Reality is such a disappointment. Next season he could be scoring goals against us.

a partner now would give us M A Y B E an extra 15 goals or more ... next season should we get into the prem then able to get a replacement, LOADS OF DOSH, or even keep him for another season!
bear in mind Chelsea have almost 4? teams out on loan! next season they will have more if they don't offload! and they are sure to buy in!
what value Abrahams on 20th May 2017?

Second goal for Tammy, what a cracking finish, first team calling.

We MUST make his season complete - and our dreams - by reaching the promised land this season.
Chances of signing Tammy next season:
    - If we stay in the Championship: impossible - simply won't happen
    - If we get promoted: unlikely - but still a tiny chance!!!

To play a partner would mean dropping a player from somewhere else and they have just won 4 on the trot

If he keeps this up Tammy will play for the England first team. He is the only English forward regularly scoring goals right now.

I know he is Chelsea's player, but wouldn't it be marvellous to see the Bristol City name against the player in an England team formation

He is a player going places and I just hope he keeps his mind in the real world and not become a spoiled brat like so many of his counterparts. How nice it would be if he gets a full call-up with Bristol City next to his name. I think any chance of signing him full time is unrealistic, but you never know because he might be of the mindset that he doesn't want to be a bit part player in a big system. We can't complain at what he has given us this season, which has given him a leg up on improving his lot.

Have you not been told, transfer window don't open till January so I doubt we could find someone then to score 15 goals in the remainder of the season on the cheap!
Who knows Engvall could be as good as Kodjia or even Tammy but let's wait to see him play before we go out and spend a huge amount of dosh in January.

So many of his counterparts? There are eleven players in a team and 92 teams in a league. How many of those 1012 players would you call a spoiled brat? You can even include the subs and squad players if you want.

Oh come on, you really mean to tell me that the commitment from players today is better than say 15 years ago. Just look at England's performances since South Africa and tell me honestly that they seriously earn the ridiculous money that's going around? Today's game is all about entitlement rather than commitment.

What's 15 years ago got to do with it? We won nothing then we've won nothing now. I'm not denying there is the odd spoiled brat out but many? There are thousands of footballers who are model professionals and are just earning a living and yes that does include Premiership and England players.

P.S. That's because I'm a miserable old fart who saw us win it all in 66.

I think that's the problem because we won it once people expectations are too high:emoticon-0105-wink: There were a lot less footballers or at least less nations with teams who could win tournaments back then. I believe England are above average side who should qualify for the quarter finals of most tournaments, if they get further then they've had a good tournament if they get knocked out before then they've had a bad one

No chance whatsoever - let's just enjoy whilst he is here. The way he seems to have been nurtured and encouraged by the club may encourage others to come our way.

I watched him today and he played well so we should enjoy his time at Ashton Gate.

Not only was I convinced that he will be a main part of the England team within the next 2 years, but he will go on to be a household name and with a huge club.

The chances of us ever signing him and Nil to non existent. I have said before, that we should enjoy him while he is with us and be proud and grateful that he ever put a Bristol City shirt on.
