They can pay themselves extra wages or bonuses if they so desire. They made the investment and they are more than entitled to do just that if they wish.
So much for the "Gift to the City" They paint themselves up as saviours, and end up being Money grabbing ****s. Hope anyone who needs a generator in Hull, goes anywhere but to their establishment
ooh hang on... Im gonna give it more anti Allam drivel.. I fit in with the other ****s on this thread now.
there is a lot of slander and speculation on here. there is no proof whatsoever that AA has trousered any cash. he gets 5% on money that he loaned the club. we got 100 mil for promotion, of that, OLM stated that £60m will go on wages. that leaves £40m to repay the 5% on money owed and to buy players. so on that working, it doesnt look like they can pocket anything.
How do you work that out then? You do realise that it's 99% certain - actually nay, 100% - that we havent paid the quoted transfer fees out in one-off payments? They'll all be staggered payments to eventually reach the quoted fees. So of the £40m you claim is left over, I'd guess about £10m max has been spent on players. So there is quite a chunk leftover.
What about all the other overheads? Rent, rates, energy bills, maintanence, new equipment, company cars, accountancy fees, legal fees, security and police, catering travel and accommodation for the team to name but a small handful.
The only noticeable maintenance when he spent £200,000, money which other clubs spent on their own fans who travelled away, on making the away fan area of the KC more pleasant for them. And, needless to say, claimed he was the only one whodid . It the right way.
