If we play Gayle up front on his own there's little point playing Ritchie/Yedlin who will whip balls in for no one to get on the end of them. If we're only playing Gayle we might as well play this - --------------Gayle---------------- Gouffran------Diame--------Atsu ----------Colback---Shelvey--------- Dummett--Clark-Lascelles--Anita ----------------Darlow------------------ Atsu offers a more direct threat and Anita can shore up defensively to allow Atsu more freedom to pwn.
Brentford will be a tough game. They have scored one of the highest and conceded one of the fewest tallies. But I think we'll win. I have a bad feeling that we might try to play too defensive against them. I think we'll win 2-1, however I have an itch that they might hold out for a draw.

I see that Brentford have sold 2600 tickets which represents 25% of their average home attendances this year (cup final yet again) which brings me to think how good it would be if we could take 25% of our home fans away (12500) there would be no room for Burton Fans I remember the days when you just turned up and they always managed to squeeze you in (sometimes dangerously squeezed in) edit : I notice that the ref for this game is Simon Hooper the blind twat that we got down at Fulham
Mitro and Gayle up front No-one cares who else is on the pitch, just make sure these two are given a good 70 minutes together. If they are given the opportunity I can see us winning by 4 goals to zero!
I hope Rafa at least tries 4-4-2 at home so we can go 3-4 goals ahead, and THEN go to 4-5-1 and control the game. Why the f*ck do we have to start 4-5-1 and slowly creep to a 1-2 goal lead?
The lone striker thing is a bit of a concern to be fair, Gayle clearly struggles up front by himself, and neither Mitro nor Perez score enough to lead the line by themselves.
