He's right. It is a major problem, just about everywhere, including here in Hull.

Ahh, so the bit when you said it was 'all bollocks', what you actually meant was a specific thing was bollocks, rather than all of it?

And where exactly did I state that? I dont think I stated anything on the subject. It was, from memory, an accusation thrown at him. He himself told me, one on one, face to face, that he was given the opportunity at what he considered a bargain price and he acted on it immediately. The accusation was that a purchase of that expense using public money should not be made on one person's decision.

Perhaps the citizens of Hull can feed themselves with the produce they cultivate? Maybe fertilised with cig ends?

If we did, we'd do it without chucking **** all over like the slovenly lot in the East Riding.

Ffs, they wouldn't have roads or hospitals if it wasn't for Hull. They'd hardly build a trunk road to Beswick would they.

Hull kids think food is produced in some process not involving, cattle sheep and pigs.

There were roads in the East Riding before there was a Hull. The main use nowadays is for .Hull people hearing out of the city for fresh air and culture.
How many Hull folk use Castke Hill hospital? And that large bridge in the East Riding?

Cart tracks, not A roads, never mind trunk roads, and the air in the East Riding is infested with the stench of manure and fish fertilizer, presumably to distract attention from the dilapidated local industry farm buildings and **** covered roads.

The locals should be on at their council to sort out the stench and the eye sores instead of whining on about Hull. It's none of their business anyway.

I think perhaps a colon would be more suitable after 'Stop press'

There were roads in Roman times. Not to Hull,as it wasn't there.
It is as much their business as Hull people throwing their cigarette ends all over our beaches and their litter into the harbour when visiting Brid when they come to see the hands that, don't performing Hull's pokey indoor venues.
I could live without anything produced in Hull. Hull couldn't manage without East Riding foodstuffs.

Don't like colons. Make me think of unpleasant medical conditions. It was an alternative narrative.

<laugh> Enjoy Brid Town FC. <ok>

I'd maybe go myself, but I'll be too wrapped up in events in Hull to get over involved in missionary work.

The ER will all be in the sea in 100 years, then you'll be begging to be allowed into Hull.

In 100 years? I'll bet I won't. In any case Hull will be under water as well. In any case ifthe Eadt Riding isn't there they will all be starving to death.

You only said one thing in your post.

And I don't believe he had the power to sign off on that decision on his own. Either then or now.

    Anyway. Just saying.

I wasn't the one who accused him of that, I'm merely saying what the accusations were.

    AFC, if you don't mind.

AFC. No rebranding here. Though they did considering shortening Town to Seasiders.

I'm afraid you have got this missionary work thing wrong . You go to areas with more deprivation, lower standards of living, lower standards of education...Unforyunately I am getting on a bit and can't travel to less fortunate areas like Hull enough to help with their problems.
