Well it's lunch time now & the thermometer has risen to 5C - have donned the t-shirt and am off out to the garden for an alfresco lunch...
Nearly there - have a good weekend all. I am off to the shoe capital and land of leather in México, León.
Morning all, bright and sunny start to the day and as it is now the weekend I have been given a day off from painting. Yesterday I was talking to a Dutch electrician about my trip to the UK. He was telling me that his desire to return to Holland is about zero as he feels that his quality of life suffers when he does make a short visit. He has been working on his own house for over ten years and it still is nowhere near being finished as his services are always in demand. Something about the cobblers family being the worst shod comes to mind.
Morning, Dave; morning, all. It's bright, but will the dew clear enough for me to get in a final mow? I'll leave you on tenter-hooks.
Morning all, quite a thick mist here today, a sure sign that Autumn is on the way. The last time I had any grass to cut was in early June, since then no rain, so no growth. I will need to get the mower out shortly to collect all the leaves that now carpet where the grass should be. They started to fall in August and now are ankle deep.
Bright and sunny day here but not quite as warm these days. A coffee break read that I quite enjoyed. http://thetwounfortunates.com/my-second-team-watford/
Evening all Just back from sunny Spain...33 degrees in Cordoba! Missing the tapas and manzanilla already.
