Dahoud has been unwilling to agree terms to a new contract at Borussia Monchengladbach much to the annoyance of the German club.

Hope we get this lad - he and Can could be a great partnership.

Can't see Can getting back in the team if we signed Dahoud. Klopp as already shown he's not bothered about two holding players, Lallana and Ninja ate both better going forward too.

Barcelona are showing an interest in Coutinho
Liverpool are ready to offer Philippe Coutinho a new contract to fend off interest from Barcelona, writes Neil Moxley in the Sunday People .
Brazil midfielder Coutinho has been in brilliant form this season and has caught the eye of bosses at the Nou Camp.
But the Reds will now offer him and Adam Lallana improved deals in the New Year.

better to move early than let contracts run down.

coutinho has been on a long list of possibles for replacing iniesta so the more form he shows the more likely it is. the earlier you do a deal or assess his commitment the better.

the other two will never get a better offer though so not as urgent. However coutinho was signed up in 2015 so i think his deal runs to 2020.. so we are fine with it really

If barca want him they pay huge money and if he wants to go fine as always no one player is all that.

    If anyone is interested

    http://www.thisisanfield.com/2016/10/liverpool-enjoy-5-0-friendly-win-international-break/

the best bully in the world has continued his trashing of u21s and youths by once again scoring for LFC in a meaningless friendly.

Yes Danny ings the tormenter of reserves and youths has done it again.

    don't worry though.

more flat track bullies got in on the act and the penalty king broing jimmy milner got another dodgy pen converted and Emre Can (he really?) scored too. Bradford city obviously were tough opposition given they played in league one 24 hours beforehand.

In short danny ings is as good as messi (on a level to level comparison)

Its just danny ings needs to play kids and the dregs to score his goals whereas messi needs to play with barcelona to get his goals.

It's a confidence thing. Some get it when they're not under pressure, others when they are.

If i could play against 9 year olds i'd be as confident as nicholas bentner.. luckily ings is that good he can play 18-21 year olds and thump them.,. this proves he's a little better than me at football.

    Bit harsh <laugh>

....... and I'd be more worried if he was playing in the U23's and not scoring.

I couldn't believe he was only 22 when we bought him - he's got a well lived-in face.
