When Gregan first signed he played in midfield, but his legs had gone and everyone judged him on his first performances. Blackwell switched him to centre back and he was outstanding and intrumental in us reaching the play-off final. If he'd played in our relegation season I think we'd have stayed up. Whenever we played Oldham he always kept Beckford quiet.
Very funny. Gregan was and never should be thought of as anything more than a very ordinary pro. As for your comment about Kilkenny, that takes the biscuit.

When I first joined here I could see a little sense in some of clivetimes comments and wondered why he was disliked so much. After the Kilkenny and Greggan comments my mind is finally made up that he is just a WUM who enjoys going against the grain of all fellow supporters just because he can I guess.
Let us hope he goes missing for a very long time then as that will mean we are stringing together a few good performances
I'm just surprised Clowntime has managed to enter this thread and make several posts without saying something along the lines of: "I don't know about underrated but our most overrated asset is Grayson. He should be sacked and if you don't agree with me you think ridiculous things."
because it's clear to me and everyone else that frustrations are high in the Leeds changing room and around the club, because Grayson's hands are tied. More and more rumours are flying around about what's going on behind the scenes, Grayson has been showing subtle signs of frustration in interviews recently and they say there's no smoke without fire. Gradel hasn't even been offered a new contract down to wanting 25k a week. Due to Bates being a stubborn old tosspot he's clearly took his bat home because our star player wants a high wage at a club that has a lot of money when he "should want to play for Leeds anyway and should be grateful" or some bullshit, and as a result is not even prepared to negotiate. He constantly fobs off players that make demands (even reasonable ones) because "no player is bigger than the club" and he thinks they should bow down like the "peasants they are" or some **** like that and do whatever we say. He's got a serious god complex and is using the clubs stature as an extension of that god complex. I don't exactly have a small club mentality, I do accept that Leeds is a big pull for players, but I'm not delusional enough to believe that the pull of the club is worth anything more than a couple of grand a week tops. That is, a player may sacrifice maybe a grand a week to play for us over another club, if all other terms were identical. I used to think he was funny but his constant drivel is really starting to grate and I feel sorry for Grayson who's hands are tied so tight that Bates might as well stuff a ball-gag in his mouth and tell him how naughty he's been. Bend over, Larry, this is going to hurt.
