shirley Phelan isn't going to persist any longer with this ****e formation??

Let's get a formation that allows our best players to play in their best positions. That means Hernandez up top with Mbokani. It also means Jake Livermore back in midfield and now our skipper is back he plays in the center of defence. It obviously means mixed bag Marshall plays in goal. Clucas looked weak as piss against Chelsea with kante and Willian running all over him. He's looked ok in a 3 man CM but he's been playing like a sweeper behind two others. Get Jake back in there where he belongs.

mixed bag

Elmo Dawson Davies Robertson

Snodgrass Livermore Mason Clucas

Mbokani Hernandez

****ing Allams get out my club.

Bet they've given themselves a pay rise too.
It's only what they saved on paper from the Steve Bruce days though. He used to write 11 different team sheets out with Alex in. A different position on every one of them. It's why Agnew left got sick of intercepting them and writing a proper one

Meyler needs to earn his place back and I think Jake will stay in defence with Daws coming on as a sub. I'd go with:

Marshall

Elmo Jake Davies A-Bob

Snodgrass Mason Clucas Henriksen

Hernandez Mbokani

What is Henriksen Sterling. Ran around a lot in the Chelsea game but i dont know. Is he a forward? Nothing against him i just wonder how and where he can fit in.

He's quite versatile, he covered a decent amount of ground and he played some lovely passes to unlock the Chelsea defence. His best position is as an AM, but he's played wide for Norway and AZ on both sides. I think against Bournemouth he will do much better, it was always going to be a tough ask against Chelsea. As Clucas is playing the best football of his life, I wouldn't put him wide left as we need his industry. Mason is better than Thudd, so he gets the vote for me.

As i said i'm not slating him, just wondering how he fits in. Clucas and Mason in a two arent strong enough.

There is no prospect of playing two out and out forwards. No one does it these days, for good reason.
