Thanks for that, Marje Proops. I've had a long hard think about what you've said, and come to the conclusion that anybody whoever took advice off you must have a) regretted it deeply, and b) been ****ing dense, so I won't be acting on your suggestion. But please feel free to keep making worthless recommendations

A federal state has a central fiscal cintirol - fact!

The EU does not therefore it is not a federal state!

 

Academics disagree, however, as we pay to a central EU pot, which they then decide how to distribute, I'd say that the EU has some significant fiscal control.

 

Hang on, is Dull arguing that the EU is a federal state?

If so, he's never been more right than when he said he was thick.

 

To be fair I started this one and its likely to be my lack of understanding around a federal state which has prompted the exchanges.

I've taken the decision to not interact with him and I'm sure if he is full of what he calls "jokes" everybody will give him a wide berth

 

They do not control our tax raising. Or any European country's tax policy.

They have control of the budget they are given. That is not central fiscal control.
