Just looked on YouTube and it seemed to be a slightly fractious version of Ring a Ring o' Roses, or am I looking at the wrong thing?
The "Indian" Kabaddi they play in the UK & at the World Cup is not authentic. I have seen proper "Indian" Kabaddi in Pakistan, Nepal, Malaysia and Cambodia.
Halcyon days. Mid-nineties. Always up early doors on a Satdee 'cos newborn daughter rarely slept and wife needed a rest after not sleeping all week. (I was working away at the time). Bonding with this gorgeous, tiny thing with a shock of black hair and a tendency to constantly giggle and enjoy sitting in boxes, spooning Agent Orange into her mouth ( it probably wasn't called that, but it's what I referred to it as; it was some kind of baby breakfast slop popular at the time), and watching Kabaddi and Transworld Sport was one of the happiest times of my life.
Used to enjoy Football Italia. A good example of how to present a show. Presenter sat drinking a coffee at a pavement cafe surrounded by local papers, calmly dissecting the news in them. No,hysterics or hyperbole.
