And now it's windy as heck. Rain is falling sideways. <ok>

Weather reports are only saying 45mph winds here though. Can't imagine what it's like at the coast.

No but I did get myself a bavarian bitch ... well a very lovely fraulein

Not sure how this is gonna work with the massive distance, guess I'll be eating a lot more pretzels and sausage from now on

The flat I had was right opposite a lap dancing club <laugh> not planned, honest :bandit: and we found the only two irish bars in the city as well that were serving horsemeat burgers, the beer is ****ing great over there off the tap, so cheap. Food is mainly meat, potato, breads, cheese, cakes, didn't eat a vegetable for days

Then weirdly in Munich airport terminal I found one of the best Asian restaurants I ever ate at, top sushi and wok dishes

Pine trees are looking really sad.

They always lose a lot of needles in the hot rainless summers... Now with the sustained strong winds they've lost most of the few needles they were hanging on to.<laugh>

Funny we're only about a month from when the deciduous trees start to lose a few leaves.

I'm going to be able to see my back door neighbours at this rate.

Storms about over for me now. Gusty but not terrible wind anymore.

Casualties. My pine trees are looking rather bare and the scrub oaks have lost some branches... But the scrub oaks lose branches if you fart near them.

I got through it relatively easy.

Yeah exactly they were basement places with fit friendly waitresses and bar girls.

Lived on basically pretzels, sausage, schnitzel, and dishes like spaetzle and schweinshaxe and had once some nice fried fish, with potatoes <laugh>

Loads of stalls and kiosks around for late night bites

The beer though, it's ridiculous, off the tap so many varieties and all like top quality product. We had one night on it and had been drinking the local stuff then one mate goes to the bar for example brings back a few big glasses of a different one and it's basically the nicest weissbier you can imagine, at cheaper than carling prices ... taste sensation !

Ah yes spaetzle ... and schnitzel.

    Ace stuff absolute ace.

But yeah... basement bars. We went in one place in either stuttgart or freiburg and the guy behind the bar was from new zealand and some russian folk music act was on..had to get out of it.

In freiburg we got taken to a brewery in the old city with the long tables and got fanstastic night of beer and food and everyone singing.

In a town called nurtingen we went to an resturant converted out of a slaughterhouse and it was freaking epic. Mind you the cayote ugly bar after was fun.

Had the paulander house beer garden in stuttgart which was ok and had a guy treat us in a town on the banks of the mozel river.

The whole south and east of germany is ace.

In dusseldorf i might was well have been in birmingham

So my internet download speed is stupidly slow, so logged into sky account which admittedly haven't really reviewed since I moved year and it ago.

Just realised that im paying £4 a month for sky talk evenings and weekends... even though I don't have a bloody landline phone! Changed that to pay as you talk which is obviously 0 a month now.

Also so looking to change my broadband option to sky fibre unlimited. £20 a month plus £50 activation though. £12.50 more than pay at moment for basic unlimited broadband but speeds of 39-40mbs compared to current 2-5mbs

Sucks over here. The cable company has a monopoly on faster broadband connections so have to pay $60 a month for a 15mbps connection.

You're a mug if you pay that, just go through to cancel the lot and the cancellation people will drop the connection charge and give you 1/2 price fibre for 6 months also ask if tere's an offer you can have on the TV package as well.

Its like having to pay a line rental fee of X to have roadband, even though don't actually need a telephone these days.
