Maravilla and Calzaghe have the best documentaries

 

"When We Were Kings" would take a lot of beating as the best boxing documentary. The whole story of the Rumble in the Jungle. Not just the fight: the blues concert, Mbutu era Kinshasha, Don King in his evil pomp, 1970's tooth decay public service announcements - - - and above all the fight.

 

Rocky 1+2 were THE boxing films for me. The 3rd was decent, 4th good.

 

And 5?

 

It was one that would be worth watching if you could pick it up on a £2 bargain basket.

Agree with all this except I'd swap 2 and 4 around, but both brilliant. 3,2,4,1

 

The fight between the two UKIP MEPs would have been good to watch. One of them is called Hookem, you couldn't make it up

Not a huge boxing (sport) fan..but Deniro (when he was good ) + Scorsese ..cant go too far wrong
