    Apparently SB is currently the favourite to become the next Villa manager!

    Although this is just the usual press speculation, I thought SB might wait until there's no chance of the England job before going back to club management!
    Is Villa the big club if he can get them up?

    I also can't believe there hasn't been a thread about this already!

    Great track record of promotion to PL, and they'll spend to support him

    I noticed he was being talked up for the England job on Soccer AM (by Vinnie Jones I think?)

    Surely Villa can do better?

    They're in the championship but they have resources and they're still a huge club. I can imagine they'd be an attractive proposition for a lot of managers.

    Other way around surely...I think Bruce could do better actually. If he bides his time he'll get a prem job at the likes of West brom or Stoke. Villa would be lucky to get him...regardless of how he did in the prem, two promotions with Hull City in such a competitive league is not to be sneezed at...that's exactly what the villains need right now.
