Why would the manager need to have played at the highest level? Our two most succesful managers never did. The three best managers in the english game over the last thirty years never did. You dont need to know how to sell houses to manage people who do.

The three managers i meant were whskey chops, arsene and jose. I didnt say they were english. Still dont agree btw. I would imagine managing the national team is easier ( if more pressured) than managing a club side. Boredom and not having day to day involvement with players are the only downsides.
