Are Australians more trustworthy than EU citizens. Most of them are immigrants, related to immigrants or related to convicts. How do we know that they won't leak secrets to the Australian government?

They are not part of the EU, so would not affect them.

I think Paul means when the UK is negotiating a trade deal with Australia.
Paul doesn't seem to realise that we wont be using Australian citizens to negotiate or advise on trade deals with Australia.
We also wont be using citizens of other EU countries to negotiate or advise on trade deals with the EU.
All people working on sensitive matters will be security vetted as well.
I've had to sign the Official Secrets Act when appropriate.

 

It is not just the EU that we will have to have trade deals with with. It is every country that the EU have deals with and any other country where we would like preferential terms.

I voted Leave. It doesn't mean I blindly support the way we are dealing with Brexit.
