You need to go on a diet.

No one would think that isn't a useful comment.

Apparently not when the foreign office is determining who can work for them

I would actually agree with you on that point.

Vital utility services should be under state control. Not sold off into private hands whose only criteria is profit.

Privatisation of essential services is madness on many levels.

    It's idiocy.

Take water. I own and control something that everybody must have, as it's vital to life itself. And they can't buy it anywhere else.

As far as licenses to print money go, they don't get any closer!

Sorry to burst your little bubble of lies :emoticon-0136-giggl

A spokesman for the Foreign Office said: "The FCO regularly works with academic institutions to assist in its policy research, and nothing has changed as a result of the referendum.

"It has always been the case that anyone working in the FCO may require security clearance depending on the nature and duration of their work.

"Britain is an outward-looking nation and we will continue to take advice from the best and brightest minds, regardless of nationality."

The statement does not deny the claim. This is the LSE internal memo

The first sentence from your linked missive.

"You may have seen reports in the media that the Foreign Office have advised us that they will be issuing tenders to contract for advisory work, but that only UK nationals will be eligible to apply."

You believe what you want to believe, just so long as it supports your twisted lefty/liberal views.

I can link you to the LSE expert who tweeted the initial story, her name is Sara Hagemann. She is Danish and had no reason to lie.

Perhaps reading the second paragraph might clarify what has changed.
'Whilst the Foreign Office has long had a rule restricting the nationality of employees or secondees, the extension of the bar to advisory work seems to be new.'

Elaborate how this is an example of positive discrimination.

You won't because you can't. You won't even understand what it means as you're knuckle dragging thick. Get your embarrassed kids to explain it to you.
