Spanish side Espanyol are understood to be keeping tabs on Sunderland's Tunisian forward Wahbi Khazri.
Media outlets in the 25-year-old's home country are reporting that due to a lack of first-team opportunities at the Stadium of Light, Khazri may push for a move in the January transfer window.

Reports say La Liga side Espanyol, managed by former Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores, are keeping an eye on Khazri, who has started just one Premier League game this season under David Moyes.

If he'd started the season in shape then he'd have started more than one match. I think he managed the full 90 last game and was one of our best players so if Moyes doesn't play him or sells him with no twat to replace him then he wants his head examined.

Asset stripping before Big Wong Chow comes in.

Never fear Cattermole will always be there.

So far, to me, it looks like Rodwell is one of your better players according to some on here.

The big names from last season, not up to scratch, Kone, Kirchhoff, Khazri... Sam Allardyce signings, not interested in listening to Moyes' drivel.

Khazri was very good on Saturday mind. Kirchhoff has been OK until the last 2 games where he's looked awful then got yet another long term injury (would anyone give him a five year deal now I wonder as many said close season) Makes me wonder if that steely midfielder next to him makes him able to be a better player - Last season he had M'Vila next to him and he looked better with Cattermole alongside him this.

Kone I still think was not as good a defender as Kaboul - Kaboul bred calm into the defence - O'Shea does it too - much better having a player like that in the back line with a lot of PL experience.

We miss Borini though - his workrate is second to none - he also has a spark of magic about him (falls over too much but he's not the only footballer in the PL to be guilty of that!)

Rodwell has been OK - not earth shattering but not rubbish either. He made a difference against West Brom - there's been no word of injury yet he's been out of the squad for a little while. Probably one of those niggles that don;t make the club news pages
