Totally right @SuperChrissyisfantasticPardswasatrocious. I really don't think Roland's changed his ways. The pool of people and players who want to come or he can ask has significantly been reduced over two years. If we get the Serb and the Irish bloke, and they both get sacked, that's every network manager that's failed. He must then sell up?
Yep, we also have to remember that their first candidate rejected is because of certain fears. The hapless Russell Slade comes along and.. The rest is history.
The first candidate who's doing far better at Sheffield, who'll probably smash us if we keep going the way we are.
Wilder started poorly, but was able to mix things up and get Sheff utd on track. That's a good manager. Russ plods along, changes zero and that's why we are getting the same results.
Absolute nonsense elfs. We would still be a championship for a start. How many more fans will be put off by dross served up by the jade goody lookalike. If we had employed a real manager after Riga/Peeters/Luzon we wouldn't be 18 in League 1. I
Better managers would get more from this team than Slade. He refuses to attack sides like Wimbledon, Oldham and Rotherham. Won't play Lookman - valued at 6mil. Does any league one player have even half that worth? Fails to integrate Tex despite us shipping goals. Refuses to condem players who attack fans. Poor handling of media. 4-5-1 Out of the relegation zone on GD Pushed for the signing of crofts and foley Jackson is played left wing
My point Donny is that we will continue to get bums in, or with Slade who probably has squirrel faces hand up his bottom.
I bet you any dough you like Teixeira will not play for us again, this is nothing to do with Slade methinks.
100% to do with Slade. If the club were to give instructions to isolate him, he'd be training with the 17 year olds and not be selected by Euell. If anything, if it were a decision from Meire or RD I doubt they'd be happy with Euell risking him being injured, thus harder to get off the books.
How do you explain the portugeezer not playing on Tuesday night then? I do believe he is fit to play. Ha, I have f***** you there amigo. "Just wear the coat, that wonderful olive coat"
Because slade doesn't want to play him, despite him being our best CB by a long way. He would probably be our top scorer as well.
I'll also mention you forgot the other points about Slades management . Slade has to bite the bullet about committed players and get Tex in there.
This thread is making me out to be a lover of Slade. Of course things have not started well, but the fella needs to change things around, particularly in the midfield department. Hopefully January will see a change and we can get back up and running, if he is still with us of course.
@baraettmattesvensson Managers DO make a difference. Had we appointed Warnock & not Riga after Fraeye, I am sure we would have stayed up. Cardiff fans warned us about Right Said Fred at the time - one dimensional tactics, negative football, poor substitutions. Very prescient in hindsight..
