Just a heads up to anyone who has gained a ticket using someone else's account - the club are ringing round to these people to effectively say that your ticket is invalid because it doesn't match the account. I guess this was well known that it might happen, though I wish they had been a little more explicit.

I'll be speaking to them myself tomorrow to assess my own situation (having used my parents account) and will try and summarise the call.

The club should have picked this up when people gave passport details that didn't match the customer name.

I did say this was going to happen...

Wonder how many have done it... after all the fuss of extra allocation we'll probably have less than the original 5000 in the ground <laugh>

People shouldn't have chanced it imo. It was clear what the requirements were and this was always going to happen.

The irony being that a lot of people who did it in the first couple of windows probably became eligible for their own in the end seeing as we're not going to sell out.

I think the only decent thing is for UEFA to re-arrange the game and play it on a different week...<whistle>

Me too, literally can't wait!! Just think 2 weeks from now we'll all be leacing the ground celebrating a famous win :)

I wonder where we will all be seated. The top tier only holds 5000 so hopefully they stick us all in the middle one n not split us between the 2.

Are we having a not606 meet up over there? Need to start thinkinh about bars to meet up in. There's an Irish pub called O'Connells near the centre which looks fairly decent.

The Navigli(sp?) canal area looks fantastic to drink in too with bars all along the canals... more of a post game place by looks of it though.

Also anyone staying east side of Milan towards Linarte airport?

Staying north west - about 15 minutes by metro to the centre of Milan, and 15 minutes from the hotel to the San Siro

Just stay together, the Italians are cowards when it comes to hunting in large packs for normal fans to randomly attack.

Don't worry. I did something similar and as long as you have registered for one, you will be covered. I'll see if I can find what I was told at the time.

Found this on official site. Should you need medical help, call the help line. Hoprefully you won't need it. :emoticon-0148-yes:
If you travel to Europe without your EHIC but then need medical treatment during your visit, you can be issued with a Provisional Replacement Certificate (PRC) to prove your entitlement to the EHIC.

You will need to apply for a PRC by calling the Overseas Healthcare Team on +44 (0)191 218 1999, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. It's a good idea to save this number in your phone. Someone else can also do this on your behalf.

The PRC will give you the same cover as an EHIC until you return home. If you need to request a PRC outside of the opening hours, you should call the Overseas Healthcare Team to request the PRC as soon as possible for the next working day. You will need to provide your name, address and date of birth.

The PRC can be faxed or emailed to the establishment where you are receiving treatment.

Apparently the club have hundreds of people to speak to about this - I feel for the person giving out this unwelcome news!

Sounds like you've got best of both worlds then. I'm only 5/6km from the airport cos I land at 10pm so wanted a cheap taxi when I get there.

On the other hand though I'm miles away from the ground...

So if they're saying that the tickets are invalid are we likely to get a refund?

Like others have said, the eligibility criteria has now changed so most people that originally got tickets an somebody else's account are now more than likely eligible for a ticket themselves. Which also begs the question, are the club going to contact people in enough time so that they can purchase a new ticket under their own account?
