With having no interest anymore with the goings on with Big Sam's old team and websites and media outlets concentrating naturally on these games I find very little to interest me during these dead weekends.

I used one such weekend last season to go watch Morecambe Town with my grandson and he enjoyed the experience, as did I.

Nothing to distract me this time round, anybody else going to a lower league or non league match this weekend just to get a footie fix?

    Roll on the Stoke match.

No mate, he moved up from us. Then he moved quite rapidly from up to out.

It was in the papers and everything.

I'd they could organise an international break until January I'd have more enthusiasm for the season.

I must admit, the prospect of a weekend in with Gareth Southgate is looking more and more gloomy by the minute, I started watching Narcos, the hype is hopefully based on every episode after the first one because that was an absolute joke of a pilot.

Maybe I'll give episode 2 a go, or I might go out and get completely ruined, stumble in just in time to spoil X-Factor for my wife.

Well so far it's like being told there's a bar full of hot birds, I've paid my fee, walked in, and found Sandy Toksvig.

I will persevere, but I will blame you solely, if things fail to improve.

I love international breaks. It means I get a day off having to recover over the fact that Sunderland have let me down again. I hate it when Sunderland play, it just saddens me.

Malta - should be a cracking game.

Wonder if they are above or below the team that eliminated the mighty England from the Euro's

I'm bored by the lack of football already, internationals just don't count.

I almost (and probably should have) went to watch Gateshead play the other night as Prenton Park is 5 mins drive from my house. Tranmere are so much worse than I realised, I still imagine them as in a decent league - they really aren't.

    Seen any more Banshee?

International weekends are a write off for me in football terms, unless I'm out doing something it lacks a focal point. On the other hand my wife likes me more when there's no football.

My wife prefers there to be football on, there's very few things more annoying in this world than me when I'm bored.

No more Banshee yet pal, watched a few other bits but I'll get round to it.

If we occasionally won the odd game my wife would probably think the football's great but it's all doom and gloom at the moment. I'd say something like "oh well it's only a game" but I wouldn't mean it.

Yeah you guys go in way too deep with this football ****. Hey I'm a Stretford Ender, I love it, the buzz on match days never goes away, it gets better and better, when the Stretford End fires up "Kicking a blue" it runs through me like a shot of adrenaline through my veins, but I can turn it off, if we lose we lose, maybe to Liverpool it hurts, or a title decider, they hurt. I get home though, and I don't bring the house down, I have to switch it off.

You guys don't have an off switch.

Yeah, know what you mean. We have title deciders almost every season in the north east <ok>
