I'm hoping that's not the way Mrs May plans on playing the game. Perhaps I'm giving her too much credit for wit and wisdom, but with any luck all the immigration rhetoric is just her chucking red meat to the hungry dogs of the Tory Conference. All Tory leaders do this stuff, it's called tickling the clitoris of Little England (remember Portillo's notorious "don't mess with the SAS" line?). In the meantime she has yet to put any flesh on the bones of what Brexit will mean in practical terms. She will have noted, however, that the pound fell off a cliff the minute she put a time line on triggering article 50.

Having brought the Tory faithful to their annual Rule Britannia induced collective orgasm, with any luck she'll now turn her attention to making sure the economy doesn't go down the toilet for the sake of preventing Romanian gippos moving into the caravan next to @King Kustard

Yup, this Brexit means Brexit **** is pure placation.
She is a politician, she knows the rammifications if we fail to agree a decent FTA with the EU.
All KKKustard and Uncle Pete are interested in is whether their neighbourhood stays Polski free and whether their local ATM remains undamaged.
Small minded thinking at its best.
Politicians quite often, some may say always, say one thing, and do another.

Dont worry, I sacred them off, I did give your address, so they will be soon visiting you. The thing is they seem to know you as a good paying customer to some of the ladies, care to explain why?

As it happens, there are two Bulgarian girls living in the flat opposite me. Pretty sure they're not on the game though, one's a probation officer.

Couldn't ask for nicer neighbours actually. Most of my neighbours are easy to get on with, including the Polish family, the Turks, and the old black dude on the ground floor who served in the British Army. The posh English bird in the flat next door is a good laugh, bit barmy though. Some of the English kids round here are always sparking up reefer and pretending they're hard, but they're alright really. Most of em are white, but seem to think they're black for some reason. You should come to London Kustard, you'd love it.

They're not supposed to fear anything, but the wild claims and repeated twisting and paranoia, suggests they're afraid of being seen for what they are.

It's why, despite me repeatedly saying I'm not clever, they try to claim I think I'm brighter than them.

They just betray their fears when they do things like that.

I'd like to think you're right mate. However, the more time elapses the sound bites from May are becoming increasingly alarming. I'm beginning to think she's nothing more than a stooge for the far right of the Tory party, someone who'll spout meaningless platitudes about fairness with seeming conviction, but who's arm is being firmly lead by the hard brexiteers.

Some of her comments this week are going to be hard to turn back on, as she'll be reminded of them at every turn. Remember our last female PM and her famous comments about U turns?

They appear to be hell bent on tight immigration control to appease the bigots and xenophobes, and we know this comes at the cost of single market access. It's a clear choice, and it appears that the Tories have made their call to me.

    Sheer unadulterated delusion

Frightening how you've come to that conclusion, you're as batshit as Pete if you've truly convinced yourself that bollocks has any semblance of reality to it.

If that really is the case, and I hope to god its not, it's nothing short of economic suicide.

I realize that Fox and Davis really are that stupid. Boris is only interested in gaining power. I just hope May, or somebody, can introduce some common sense into this before it's too late!

    May has to know that.
Also the EU will not want to have no FTA with the UK, as it will cost them too.
Hopefully some comprimise will be met, I imagine it will.
My "Mee Frovement" idea sounds good. Where it is free movement, but doesnt appear to be.
That way the Far right can shut the **** up, and feel like they have had their voices heard (lets face it, most of them wont be hard to fool).
And we get our economy back on track, separately from the fascist regime of the EU.

    Wonderful.

    That clears up everything.
    <doh>
All May needs to do is bowl in to the office in Brussels and say "Brexit means Brexit" and the rest of the MEP's will fall to their knees.

I suppose the middle eastern crisis can be solved in the same way.
Obama needs to just bowl in to the Syrian capital and say "ISIS means ISIS" and they will all lay down arms and surrender.

    And Breakfast means breakfast

It's a pointless and meaningless soundbite, who's aim is to give solace to right wing bigots like you. Seems like it's working.

Thank you for clearing that up. Would you care to flesh out that staggering insight with some detailed analysis of how you see our future relationship with our European neighbours? Or do you envisage leaving the solar system altogether, and having nothing more to do with planet earth?
