Believe me, I hold no affection for LFC, but Slippy G never fell on his arse, to be fair

We battered Burnley but their defense held up.

You have the slowest CB pairing in the PL and we managed 4 goals. Should and could have been 11.

    Champions <laugh>

You managed to get 10 points yet????

... we beat Burnley 3-0 .. isn't that the beauty of footie in the EPL? ... one minute a team might look like it is a genuine title contender ... the next, they don't even finish as distant runners up ... and some end up 20+ points behind the eventual winners ... I guess that's why we all love it so and can't wait for the next opportunity to see our own team's play (apart from the odd, weird, freak types <laugh) <ok>

So have you got 10 points yet?

Still, Champions is what they are. When was the last time Liverpool could say that about themselves?

I realise giving it the big'un comes as easily as breathing to the average scouser. But it rarely ends well.

    In order..

No we haven't got 10 points yet .... well done to those that have ... but it doesn't win the title ... many more are needed ... and many fall by the wayside on the path to greatness as history has shown.

I quite like beating around the bush - but then I'm old school - when men were men - there are certainly some weirdos around now - there's even one bloke on here with made up mates and an unsettling fixation for silly films of a surgical nature - I suspect he has body image issues and has been a sad disappointment to his mother who had hoped that he might grow up to become a doctor ...parental pressure can be brutal ... <ok>

England, Europe, whatever. How's your European campaign going this season? I'm off to the San Siro in a fortnight <ok>

Wow enjoy your trip of a lifetime <laugh>

We've been champions of both in my lifetime, so can't be bad. Pretty sure we will be again too.

Mate, England have won a World Cup in my lifetime (just about). I won't be holding my breath about that ever happening again.

    That's won't happen again, agreed <laugh>

I suspect this time next year HIAG will be writing a 'Liverpool Spiral Watch' thread though after we're crowned PL champions.

Can you suggest another English team that's sold 80,000+ tickets for a competitive game, then?
I'm not even asking for three, which is what we've done. Just the one. Should be easy.
Given the way you're struggling with days and weeks, I'm guessing this is going to be pretty tough, though.

    I think that means it's 1 game every 3 days...not 3 games every 7 days

Your lot are such a special case that you have a perpetual article open
