Stam from Reading.......??? Haven't they missed someone out? With respect LeedsLover could get the Toon Army up with an open chequebook. As far as the Wendies are concerned, how much have they spent in the last few seasons???? Then there's Alex Neil from Norwich. They have not had to tinker to much from their Premiership squad last season. Berardi was left out of the under 23 squad last night so he could join up with the first team squad. The U23's had one hell of a game beating Bolton 4-3 with goals from from Diagouraga, Amissah and 2 from Stokes. Diagouraga and Murphy both played for the u23's yesterday. I think their days are numbered.
Morning all. Thank God Monk wasn't nominated, it's the kiss of death. Think we've an international tonight so must remember to get excited about that. We need to be careful what we post over the coming week as some are not handling the international break as well as others and are getting a little tetchy under the pressure let's say
Stokes into the first team squad soon. Dave and Murph to be gone and the kid that came on for Murph late in the game turned the game and scored (Ammisah) Joke award anyway as it never tells the right story. Its like old red nose won it for the season award because he won the league, yet the best manager was the one who struggled at the bottom all season with no cash, a **** squad and kept them up. Big Sam, Big Mick, Pulis etc .....Yes I know Mick is in our league now but at Wolves he had fook all and got them up there and kept them there for years. Hate International break

Morning Doc, Murphy signed a four year contract last Summer!!! No wonder he didn't want to go to the blunts. Think he took a pay cut to sign the new contract tho. Believe he's on either 9 or 10k a week. Would be great to get Stokes firing for the first team. Poleon is on fire at the moment. He's scored something like 6 in 7 games.

Stam is there because he is a Scummer, and the FL won't hesitate to mention that he learnt from Red Nose ... think Leeds will have to win seven of their next five games for Monk to have a chance of making the list ... really believe that Di Matteo should have been in the running for Manager of the Month for continuing Villa's slide ... very surprised Warnock isn't there in anticipation of how well he is going to do at Cardiff will be difficult to move Murphy on as he will require a contract of the same length as his current one, and not sure who will want to commit to signing him until 2019 ... best we can hope for is Murphy gets a loan move until such time as someone signs him permanently ... Diagouraga may well be back on Rangers' radar now that Barton is finished at Ibrox, so hopefully Warburton makes a move in January there are some very talented players in the U23s for sure, but one thing that does strike me is the lack of mental toughness ... they still concede too many, and players can drift out of games ... this can be attributed to no atmosphere and therefore no intensity, but surely the coaching staff must be pushing them to learn to concentrate and commit for the full 90 minutes ... our lads are capable of regular 2-0 and 3-0 wins, but they do tend to fall off the pace a bit when confronted by physical teams willing to battle for a result ... Monk will no doubt be discussing this with his Academy staff, and hopefully we see a more resilient U23s going forward ... they have every incentive to buck up, because at Leeds they have a real chance of breaking through if they prove themselves to be talented Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
