At double the price... in the summer holidays... for a friendly... that's 100 miles away... not to mention that we only have 27k members/season ticket holders (they're limited)... and the fact that we don't claim to be a big club

Number plucked from where, exactly?

The tickets went on sale at about 6 and were all gone (bar a few singles in 2 blocks) when I checked at about 20 past 6.

I plucked that figure from the same place as you've pulled that second claim.
However many tickets you barely sold, it's distinctly less than we have for any of the three games on sale so far, isn't it?

It's about a third mate, I think we got 29k.

Like I said, we sold only to members and season ticket holders for about a month (then the club realised that 27k season ticket and membership holders won't sell out 29k seats).

When it went to general sale it took about 20 minutes.
