ive loads like that too, i watched sicario only the other week and thats been about ages too - really good film actually, proper enjoyed it
Interesting...hadn't heard of this movie until this..so looked it up...entire funding came from a Chinese company interested in marketing the movie both in US and China....so ooooh either they were very dumb not to write in some content control or they had it and are happy with the finished product...suppose it depends on which market they believe is more lucrative...but who's worse culturally here? The yank writer, producer etc or the Chinese company apparently willing to "white out" one of their greatest film icons?
I've not watched a film in ages (keeping watching TV series' instead) so you better be right about Slow West because its now next on my to watch list
Star Trek Beyond now available on Exodus. Watched the first 2 again recently both really good so looking forward to watching this on the weekend.
It's described as Shakespeare meets 300. Watch it for the battle scenes. Iambic pentameter just flows
Already have and turned it off after 20 or so minutes, couldn't understand a ****ing word. The raven himself is hoarse That croaks the fatal entrance of Duncan Under my battlements. Come, you spirits That tend on mortal thoughts, unsex me here, And fill me from the crown to the toe top-full Of direst cruelty. Make thick my blood, Stop up th’access and passage to remorse, That no compunctious visitings of nature Shake my fell purpose, nor keep peace between Th’ effect and it. Come to my woman’s breasts, And take my milk for gall, you murd’ring ministers, Wherever in your sightless substances You wait on nature’s mischief. Come, thick night, And pall thee in the dunnest smoke of hell, That my keen knife see not the wound it makes, Nor heaven peep through the blanket of the dark, To cry ‘Hold, hold!’ luv - What did he say? Mrs luv - No ****ing clue.
Don't you not find it easier to follow when watched rather than read? I found body language etc helped at first until I'd studied it so much it came more naturally. Same with things like beowulf...
I imagine that my understanding would be better when watching it but I still found myself frustrated at not being able to fully follow the dialogue, I wanted to listen again but you can't keep rewinding it. Same with the books I have tried, I found myself constantly re-reading the sentence which just pissed me off in the end. Perhaps It's just not for me.
watched the new star trek. The villain was pretty weak in terms of what makes him a bad guy and the way they defeated the whole swarm was a it weird/easy. Still though a very good watch. MITO is going to hate that, he prefers more high brow sophisticated watching. I quite like the new star treks even though i'm not normally a watch action stuff kind of guy, hence i don't really watch any of the marvel or dc films
