Because you live in a lower value area. There is a general exodus from higher value areas to more affordable parts of the country. Developers are more interested in Maidstone than Fulham nowadays. That was far from the case 18 months ago.

If you're in a higher value area and/or your property is worth over a million then there is no chance that you're seeing an increase at the minute. You'll no doubt disagree but you'll be talking out of your hole.

Another blow for Project Fear! IMF rows back on dire warnings about Brexit to predict the UK will be fastest growing major economy this year.

It's going to be tough for the foreseeable future - very tough.

It will take the U.K. many, many years to recover from the shock of Brexit. Maybe a decade, maybe longer.

A complete and pointless waste of a good economic recovery that was in progress.

Most of that growth will most likely have been achieved before this idiotic vote...

Just because effects don't appear in a few weeks, that's doesn't mean they're not coming!

Yes things recover but the question really is whether it's going to be better than it was and how much pain do people have to live through to get there.

House prices will be one of the last indicators and if anything are one of the biggest risks, a few interest rate rises and a lot of people will get badly hurt.
Very little if any of the effects have fed into the system so far.

The IMF adjusted this year by 0.1%

They've halved next year from 2.2% to 1.1%.

The EU imploding after we weaken our economy would be an absolute disaster for us. Imagine we make ourselves poorer to improve exports and then our largest market stops buying our goods and services.
A wealthy and healthy EU is in our interests regardless of whether we are in it

If Barmy Boris and his merry band of morons get their hard Brexit, UK assets will collapse.

There will be an almighty recession.

Before Brexit they predicted 1.9% growth which was amended to 1.7% and now revised to 1.8% which makes their prediction far more credible than some would have you believe.

How anyone can get excited by revisions of 0.1% is beyond me.

The Daily Mail and the Daily Express target and appeal to simpletons and scared old woman. Pete falls into both categories. Kustard is just scared.

A fair percentage of the remoanians on here seem stuck on the western version of economics, and can't seem to accept that the vote isn't responsible for a fair amount of the fluctuations as the system was creaking and in need of fresh impetus anyway.

There's far more to this than just western economics. Lets face it, there's the distinct possibility that the pursuit and defence of that system has caused more wars, deaths and suffering than religion.

It's nearly as daft as thinking politicians are in 'power'.

Report you for what, ****ing up your first quote? I don't think there's any rules against being tedious and a tad pointless, or you'd have gone a long while back.

Like a few others, you do try to divert topics that make you uncomfortable and show your ignorance. Little wonder you do it so often.
