If he thought his first club might be being cheated then at least it makes more sense than when discussed yesterday, where everyone just thought it weird.
Money for the player not the issue but full diclosure off transfer fee terms. Not heard of this affecting a players decision before. If we wanted him why not show him? Always two sides though - have to trust Cortese - He certainly won't retaliate in the press. Or will he? His last comment was quite a pop "Never deal with them again"
I can't say I'm disappointed myself. Considering I've never seen him play, and had never previously heard of him, I have no opinion on him and thus had no feelings on potentially signing him. Gorkss is a much bigger loss, but it's hardly surprising that he wants to give the Premiership a crack. Still, there's almost 4 weeks to go yet. I'm sure Adkins and Cortese will find us someone to partner Fonte.
He might well be a good player, but I don't like what he is insinuating. If there is a fee, & a sell on clause, then that is business between the three clubs, not mr home town boy. We as a club conduct ourselves in a professional way, of that I am certain. I look forward to not hearing from this guy again.
Have to say, when I watched his clips on YouTube, I thought he had an arrogant air about him. Two goals showed over and over again (and lots of misses). And when he scored, only one team mate celebrated with him, once. Telling.

I mean, he's a free agent - his wages might be high, but im sure NC can change that if he has a talk with him - or is there something I'm overlooking? I've heard rumours about Anton Ferdinand, but I would say Upson is as good, if not better. In my opinion at least.

Apparently the Gorkss deal has fallen through too, he wants to stay at QPR (unsurprisingly). But I'm sure NA and NC will have another target lined up.

No probs mate. Thats a shame the deal didn't happen. It does make sense as why would you not want to at leave when he was one of their best players last season. I would want to be part of the prem side now they are there, wouldn't you ?
