Evening elland Yep that's very fair comment. Where he has improved is he's winning the ball using his brain instead of brawn. Very impressive this weekend but still massive room for improvement. The common thing at our level is the speed of thought or lack of it I should say. Most of them have decent skills but the execution fails them due to a moments hesitation or indecision. That's why confidence is such a big thing in football. Fear freezes the mind for a split second and by then the opportunity has gone or someone is crunching you in a tackle. Anyone care to predict where we will finish this season ? In the interests of being optimistic I'll go for a solid 6th.
Actually thinking about it there is no one better than us in this League except Newcastle. So 2nd it is.
After the first 3 home games I would have taken 17th in a heartbeat. Since then Jansson, Bridcutt and O'Kane have come in and made a world of difference. Add 2 more quality players in January and top 6 is definitely a possibility.

I think we can make top 6 at moment, but there's still plenty of games left and players could get injured or suspended, I reckon between 10th and 6th as a down to earth guess..
