I'm just watching Andrew Marr interviewing Jeremy Corbyn after the announcement that Labour plan to spend £500billion on the infrastructure/"trashing the economy":
Andrew Marr: "How did you come up with the £500billion? It's not just a nice round figure?"
Jeremy Corbyn: "It's not just a nice round figure."
Andrew Marr: "It is a nice round figure!"

Yeah let's scrap any thought of spending money on our infrastructure and spend it on essentials like the £205BN on trident

Do you think this makes sense:
"I believe in this and I will campaign for this"
    After losing the referendum.
"I don't believe in this but I will implement it"
    or would this be better
"I believe in this and I will campaign for this"
    After losing the referendum
"I don't believe in this so I will let the party choose who should implement it"

Labour can say what they want. It's not going to happen.

May was also for remain, so your excuse for the chump sort of dies there.

He played roulette with the entire British economy and lost.

Now the rabble are left with sorting out the mess. There'd been zero planning for the Brexit result which is complete incompetence on a gargantuan scale.

    Welcome to Pete.

He hears voices in his head. The villainous ones have foreign accents. The heroic ones sound like David Niven.

    And now a serious one
    https://www.ft.com/content/7b78f276-8940-11e6-8cb7-e7ada1d123b1

Ft confirming that civil servants are telling politicians that Brexit negotiation and a new trade deal can't be done in two years and we should be looking at an interim solution to give us time.
Also that by May announcing when A50 will be triggered before getting any guarantees she has thrown away a bargaining chip for the sake of political popularity.

Civil servants have no influence, politicians make all the decisions.

    Pete's made that abundantly clear.

You seem to not warble bobble nonsense talk medium build
    apparently.

May has been incredibly disappointing so far. She's no better than Blair when it comes to spin.

They haven't got a ****ing clue what they're doing. Boris says one thing, Rudd another. The cretinous Fox says we don't need the single market. Oh yes we do, says Hammond.

What a ****ing shambles! Meanwhile watch the U.K. Economy disappear up its own fundament!...

Watched Hammond's speech. Apart from Kustard, who is terminally thick, did anyone really buy into his deficit story? Clearly what he meant was, we're ****ed in the short to medium term so prepare for Broke Britain.

Long term, who knows? Certainly not the government (and they don't care as one term is enough to secure exec director roles and speaking tours)
