I was talking about Spurs trouncing EPL champions (beating them in more ways than one), and you tried to imply that Arsenal were recent title champions. My response, which is entirely factual, was that Arsenal is an irrelevance when it comes to the EPL title.

I'm aware that you won the title at some time during your past, but I think most would agree that it's far too distant a memory, now, to be of any relevance to the modern game.

During last season Chelsea were the champions from the season before, I don't recall you trouncing them! In fact they started your downfall at their ground if I recall correctly and in both games you drew!

Leicester were on their way to being crown champions, you drew one game 1-1 and lost one 1-0 now I wouldn't exactly call that trouncing, maybe in Spud logic that's trouncing......

We lost to Chelsea last season and at the same time beat Leicester who were on their way to being the new Champions 2-1 and 5-2...

Now I know which one looks better either way and the great thing was we put you in our shadow again in one of your so called best seasons to date!

I didn't imply recent champions if you mean last season then no but we are more recent than you boys are so far!

I say again if Arsenal is an irrelevance when it comes the EPL (which we have won several times) then what does that make the Spuds (you have never won it)? If our recent past is too far in the distant memory to be of any relevance in the modern game then yours must be in Black and White oh wait it really is in Black and White!
