well big is relative. They would probably get back out of league 1 fast if the worst occurs but they need the 3 big things required for the championship

and ****e all up top.

They really have a huge issue at centre forward and need to urgently get someone of a good championship standard in.

grealish, ayew and jedinak etc are ok in midfield.

I would be looking for a reliable CB and stricker urgently there. guys who know the division and can perform well there.

 

Ayew McCormack and Gestede is probably best attack in the league. They've just been unfortunate with injuries.

 

put it this way. Gestede got them relegated.....

ross mcCormack has done well in the championship for a number of clubs but he's really up and down. at fulham he was at his most consistent so with him its all about injuries yes.

Ayew i am not sure on still. hes not a stiker so much as a winger for me even though he is called a striker. I don't think he's scored enough to be considered a main line striker. I would be playing him off whoever.

Neither decent guy is tall and gestede is useless... They need a benteke back. Agbonlahor is a goner.

If Mccormack repeats earlier form for a number of clubs ok but he could just be struggling due to villa struggling to get a set up.

He's new and dimatteo and whoeve ris ext are nex... not a lot of time to settle there.

 

Mccormack has most goals of anybody ever in the championship I think I saw somewhere.

Gestede was top scorer for Blackburn in championship and has brilliant record, far from useless. Just need to deliver crosses to him to get the. Way out of him, like Benteke.

thats cos he's gones from cardiff to leeds to fulham and now villa so has played there a LONG time.

As I said he was socred everywhere but he seems to have every second season a bad one with injury until he got to fulham and he socre there. he has already been injured at villa.

As for gestede... I'm sorry but his record is at best mixed. He was singularly unimpressive IMO bar one single 20 goal ahul for blackburn you are pointing to. before that he was nothing special. he got relegated with cardiff, moved ot blackburn than to villa and got relegated again.

Maybe he is just a terrible judge of a club... or he is ****e...

He is big, he is tall but he is ****e... (IMO)

Chester & Elphick have both been part of promotion winning sides. They are probably amongst the best players you could get in those positions for the championship.

Gestede & McCormack both have a 1 in 2 goal record in the championship which is not to be sniffed at. They have those 2 and also Kodija who was the 4th highest scorer in the championship last season.

GK I agree with and I think personally they could do with some better wide players and midfielders, because if you supply the strikers they've got with chances they will score. They should definitely be competing at the top of the table though, not bottom..
