Seems like the WUM's are at all the threads on the LFC board. Rating all the threads 1 star. Do us a favour and rate them all 5 to stop our board looking ridiculously defeated in a war of ratings
The Championship season is underway with Hull playing Blackpool. Link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/bbc_radio_five_live_sports_extra Thought I would tell you this because our keeper Peter Gulacsi starts for Hull tonight.
Hull 0-1 Blackpool. Gulacsi lets in a goal on his league debut. To be fair, it has been a good game so far. Gary Taylor-Fletcher with the goal for Blackpool.
Full time: Hull 0-1 Blackpool. Shame to see Gulacsi concede on his league debut but I had the game on the radio and it was a decent game.
Anyone else take part in Sky Sports Super 6? I scored 1 (again) but I have noticed that the top 15 people usually holds quite a few women. I would imagine the majority of people who take part would be men, so to have about 5+ women near the top I think that is quite a high percentage to have in that bracket. (Note, this is assuming that a considerable amount of men take part over women) Now it could well be that these women know their football, but my theory is that some of us try to think too logically and often get it wrong. Whereas women or those who don't adamantly follow football tend to get lucky with their unbiased guess. Therefore, from now on I will be getting my missus to choose the scores for me to see if it makes a difference.
I don't do it but I do think we think too much about it. When I do predictions, I look at the teams, any injures, new signings and everything else. Then I get it wrong and I feel pretty stupid! For example, I did the 'I know the score' feature on this website and did the Championship scores today. I thought about it for about 10 minutes and put my scores in. I got 1 point out of a possible 50. The person at the top is on about 17 points but I look pretty stupid despite the fact I thought about it loads! Next time, i'm gonna put in random numbers and hope!
Try and guess as many scores as possible out of 6 selected 3pm kick off games. The person who has the most correct scores wins £5,000. Get them all right and you automatically win £100,000. If there is a tie then it is decided by the golden goal. The golden goal is your selected time for the 1st scorer out of all the games.
Do you have to enter card details when you register? And whats the age restrictions? Sorry for the questions
I have no idea to be honest, I'm guessing it will be 16. Double jackpot this weekend also. Edit: Next weekend rather.
Just going to wait for my Mom to come home and ask her to use her name I reckon thats why lots of women have won!
