Still only 3 goals conceded in 7. Not Spursy at all. I can almost sense George Graham being impressed.
A pundit said before the match that City weren't unbeatable as Swansea dominated at times against them and Celtic held them. Against an in form team it was fair to think they'd struggle. They will say "We didn't have DeBruyne" but I don't think it would have made a difference.
Looked a bit less comfortable towards the end, but it wasn't City's best performance, was it? Kolarov seemed to be very effected by his own goal and Zabaleta struggled at times, too. Putting Bravo under pressure so often seemed self-destructive, as well. Where do you think you went wrong today, PPLF? Leaving out Gundogan was a mistake, in my opinion.

I would draw a bit of a parallel today to our first half against the 'Pool - when they out-harried us and put us on the back foot. The difference is that we didn't really ever let up the pressure for 94 minutes so never gave Citeh a way back in. Only a couple of negatives for me today: Lloris' poor distribution puts us unecessarily under pressure and The unseemly squabble between lamela and Son over the penalty.
Cheeky punt for Yaya Toure in the winter as squad cover for the final half ?? Citeh can go Adebayor on his wages.
Truely outstanding team performance. Can not believe how good Wanyama is and Sissoko is changing my view of him too. Jan has gone from one of my least respected players to one I think is a real team player. Can't speak highly enough of Dele, Toby, Walker and rose. Son is showing why we bought him (and wouldn't sell him), Eriksen was excellent imo and Lamela (penalty aside) did well. Lloris was solid throughout. My only gripe would be that lamela gave the ball away in dangerous areas (and has a habit of doing this and it costs us sometimes like v Monaco) and Lloris's distribution can be awful and invites pressure on us.
As the table stands, we've played the rest of the top four already this season. I expect Arsenal to beat Burnley and dislodge Everton, but to go unbeaten against some very good sides is encouraging.
