Before today your #recordsigning had contributed 1 shot all season. I'd call that pretty useless. Based on his first start today he could be very useful with some match sharpness.
Its people making comments on your side and players when they have no clue or haven't seen us this year. But he thought he sound good.
I knew this Liverpool game would be a defining moment for Franco, and it's a shame our players let him and the club down, a game that was truly winnable, with so many chances that went begging, from poor decisions from Routledge all game, to Van Der Hoorne's unbelievable miss. This game we should have put to bed first half, but now we see again another managerial change, and I truly hope we get a manager that will come with birch to whack our pansies where it hurts, it's clear to me that our players need a serious strong manager to really put these egos into shape and if they don't like it, they can bloody well piss off!.............
First half was really good and we deserved the lead but the more Liverpool pressed the more our defence started to feel the pressure.....Credit for the first half where we had not scored a single first half goal all season and Fer looked impressive........But i said in the week that win, lose or draw Guildo still has to be replaced and im still of the same opinion.....We need a better manager.....
He'd be manager. He'll have Butt and Scholes as coaches. What can any coaches give players that those three cannot? They'll have more top class footballing experience than anyone that will play or manage our club. They also spent 10-30 years under the greatest manager of all time. Players will want to come to Swansea to play for these three too. Not to mention Giggs won't take dictating to that arsehole Huw on footballing matters. No brainer imo.
First half we played very well today, as against Man City x 2. For me, the reasons we have been 'poor or ran out of gas' second half is because of the quality of the bench and the strange substitutions, although not today. Because we didn't sign players of quality in the summer we are now relying on the likes of a dog $hite player like Ki coming on - something which Guido takes a share of the blame becuase he allowed Huw to dictate transfers etc. Based on those 3 games, you'd have a strong arguement for Guido getting a few more games to see if we can pick up points. The question is, has Guido learnt from his mistakes and is making adjustments, ie bringing Rangel and Leon back into the side or have the players raised their levels because it's Man City and Liverpool? Why couldn't we produce performances like this v Hull and Southampton, which in my opinion would have bagged us at least 4 points with those types of displays? Or have our performances only improved because Leon is back in the side? Personally, I think he'll be gone within the next 48 hours and Giggs brought in.
