Aside from the last 5 minutes I thought it was comfortable enough tbh. It was a more assured performance than against Villa for example. Their keeper made an excellent save from Atsu, Diame was unlucky with a deflection and Shelvey and Clark nearly scored too. Not as if we didn't try and get a second. On another day one of those goes in and we're all commending seeing out the game well.
An encouraging element today was that both Diame and Colback had decent games. I know it was only Rotherham, but Colback looked a lot more like the player we saw when he first arrived. Some really nice touches from Diame too, and very unlucky to be on the wrong end of a brilliant defensive block.
With Villa losing 2-0 to Preston, it's hard not to feel sorry for their fans........ Who am I kidding?????
