I still think he needs breaking in slowly. I darent take any risks the way things are. At least we know what well get with Oshea.
Think that's the problem. I have no doubt that our best 11 is good enough. But the confidence they have is shot to pieces. When we concede against palace Djilibodji looked shot to pieces. Got to win today mind. Pickford Manquillo Oshea Kone van Aanholt ---------------Kirchhoff Ndong ----------------------McNair Khazri------------------------- Watmore -------------------- Defoe That's what I reckon they'll start with
Albion team v @SunderlandAFC: Foster; Dawson, McAuley, Evans, Nyom; Phillips, Fletcher (c), Yacob, McClean; Chadli; Rondon.
Looking at the midfield 3, it's not too bad. If Mcnair can match the or at least get close to the level of Kirchhoff and Ndong it's a good trio. The defense on the other hand is a worry our seemingly consistent lack of fullbacks could cost us today. 2-1 to us, Khazri and Defoe. Any ex safc player for them
Interesting. PVA was poor last week but has been ok overall. Why not push him forward a bit? Guess we'll see an?
As long as JOS does not get done for pace his inclusion could be a good one. We desperately need more organisation at the back. I can see Moyes thinking re PVA I am betting his plan is to keep a clean sheet for 60 mins then bring PVA on to run at a tired defence. It's a gamble but at least it gives us an option from the bench.
I wonder if he's saving him to bring on for Khazri or Watmore given our now limited options in those areas.
