No snowflake comes from the term snowflake generation and therefore relates to an age group.

'unless something totally drastic takes place.'

Can anyone think of something drastic that is likely to occur in the next 4 years?

At the moment the headline rates don't appear to be telling the full story. The local election results since Brexit have shown a polarisation which means a lot of tory support is being concentrated in a smaller number of seats, it also shows a similar story for lib dems who have won 18 seats in traditional tory areas that voted remain, while tories have lost 16. I don't for a minute believe Labour will turn it round, but I'm also far from convinced it's a foregone conclusion with so much still to happen.

My own view is, and always has been, that Labour will never win a GE with Corbyn at the helm.

However, that doesn't mean the Tories are a shoe-in for the next election. Far from it. I do honestly believe that there's an appetite in the country for a Centre-left party who are genuinely pro business ( I don't believe Corbyn & co are), but still believes in creating a fairer, more balanced society.

Lib-Dems, get your act together for once, and who knows?....

I did say, 'get your act together, for once'.

As to the Brexit vote, I'd agree that making another referendum part of your manifesto is a stupid idea. To make it party policy to ignore a democratic vote of the people is electoral suicide. Other parties would rightly ask, if they're prepared to turn over this vote, they're obviously prepared to overturn any vote they don't approve of.

That doesn't mean that final, not further negotiable terms of the separation should not be put before the British people for their final approval before that final step is taken, in my view.

Asking for a referendum on the terms of Brexit once they are outlined isn't the same as ignoring the referendum.
If the Tories come up with an excellent deal then surely a second referendum would be a formality.

There's no comparison between Corbyn and Fallon compared to May.

What do you mean? She gave a 'job' to Boris didn't she. I don't think there is anyone more inadequate than him getting a state handout.

He got a classics degree from Oxford. So much for your view of him as being inadequate.
