Off Topic What's the Score with the M62 around Selby

Does anyone know if it was just shut last night or will it be closed / part closed over the weekend too?

 

No idea mate but County Rd is a ****ing nightmare.

 

I couldn't get into Pocklington today on my bike, there was a ****ing plane in the way.

Actually Ernie, gliders (and their pilots) do fulfil many of the criteria you list. Pilots are licensed by EASA and can hold the LAPL (light aircraft pilot license). Looking at the picture I note that the registration is a UK CAA registered aircraft manufactured by Schemp HIrth in Germany. The particular model is a Janus C and one version related to it - the Janus CM - does have a retractable engine with a propellor allowing it to take off and fly under its own steam.
Increasing numbers of gliders are now being fitted with jet engines - ace fun.
