Yeah I know some people would take a point, but this team aren't great technically, we could really get at them if we get it together

 

Agter 25 minutes I said we were playing very poorly, and I stand by that. We sat far too deep and allowed them to play. The fact we were making last ditch tackles and allowing free shots from the edge of the box is not indicative of good play. When Hesketh went off the urgency went up and Tadic started making good use of the ball. From that point we were good.

I don't want to get involved in personal **** with other members.

Sunday was dull - I went out for a *** after 15 minutes - but I didn't in the second half. Hope tonight livens up in the same way!

 

I saw that coming. He was getting shoved off the ball every time he had it. Not strong enough. Not blaming him - just thought it was a good sub. I would have waited until HT, though, like they said.

Exactly this. We needed Tadic out there, so the sub, for me, was either JWP or Hesketh. JWP is the more experienced player so it made sense to leave him on.

 

Wish we had the ref from the Sparta game. Long getting battered a few times and nothing given. Better now we're pressing them harder. Need Redmond to get into the box .....

 

Please can we try looking to pass the ball onto the runner into the box rather than blasting it carelessly at the goal!!

 

The BT commentator and pundit are highlighting Saints' ability to replace anyone (manager or player) with a better option. Jenas even said that Southampton are a club that players want to play for. We're actually getting credit for the 'Southampton Way' !
