Makes me laugh at how United fans can't see that they've signed Pogba, spend a grand on a season ticket, a hundred quid with his name on the back of the new kit and half their time praising the club for pulling off such a move yet they signed him for 80m and the ****ing agent got 25%! Football clubs have too much money for their own good and they can't wait to get more of it. There were seats on Tuesday for us going for £75. So basically, the club got millions and millions for winning the league and getting into the Champions League and the fans, who will always support the club no matter what get fleeced for it. Pisses me right off. £20 is plenty, home and away.
Football has a shelf life before it implodes, I think a few months ago I said 20 years. The basis of the game will still be there but the money, the love by the fans will have dropped a lot. It's like a real life English version of "The Last Boy Scout"!
SSN BREAKING: @QPRFC confirm investigation into manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink over newspaper allegations.
What a strange statement Of course we know (can see) how much we paid for Pogba, it was all over the news for weeks and is still mentioned regularly. A shirt costs around £45 plus any letters you decide to put on them. The fact that Juve agreed to pay the agent 20% of any transfer has very little to do with United, good move by the agent, stupid thing for Juve though. Has your wife run away with a United supporter by any chance?
Its a complete disgrace football now. Greedy nose in the trough set of bastards. And are Manchester united fans that arrogant that they assume that united means them.!!?? What about West Ham United,Sheff United etc. Wont pay more than £30 for a match anymore apart from a final.
QPR say they have every confidence in Jimmy.... Which is probably code for "'he'll be out of a job in the morning'".
The FA are apparently interested in talking to Ralf Rangnick about the England job. A German managing England, what could possibly go wrong?
Eh? I'm (for once) sticking up for United fans I think you've got the wrong end of the stick. I'm saying you're being charged loads to cover costs of things that shouldn't impact supporters (like agent fees). Didn't know that Juve decided to pay Pogba's agent but my point stands. The success of football clubs impacts the fans more than anyone else and it's wrong.
And why do you think that is? Well I'll help you - it sells more copies. The only people who have shaped the mass media into what it is are the consumers.
It's a sad fact that people aren't interested in how the police are helping find murderers etc & more interested in the latest celeb, in whatever field, who is failing!
Why do you believe he resigned? Sam is a scrapper, he wouldn't quit his Roy-Of-The-Rovers dream job if he didn't believe he had done something wrong. Why are you focussing on criminality? What about Wright, today How far do you think Sam would have gone in a real scenario? Do you believe £400K (all expenses paid) is the going rate for a 2-3 day keynote speech junket for an unproved England manager? Or do you think that large sum of money might include hidden extras? He wasn't entrapped, he was caught fair and square by responsible invetigative journalism that will bring the focus back to English football corruption, the mega-money and the inability of the FA and PL to adequately police it. You talk ****e, as you confuse your apparant hate of journalism with your moral compass, which experience has shown to be dodgy before.
It did for Wright and it certainly comes across as an expectation from previous experience - just my take on it, but ... Do you understand what corruption is and how it spreads and corrupts others? Is that what you want in sport?
