Actually they would have. At whatever point in the evolutionary history of the chicken you say the species evolved from a proto-chicken to a chicken... That individual with the mutation that caused it to cross the line into being a chicken had to be an egg before it was a chicken. Therefore egg wins. Besides they're only really technically "chickens" if raised for meat otherwise they're hens. Presumably the first "chicken" in history wasn't a farmed one so was a hen not a chicken.

Well what a good start to a weekend. I became a Grandad for the second time at 2.45 am, little lad to look after his elder sister.
