I'm a lover of all genres of music, tastes change over the years but I have no real favourites. How was your gig at the hospice? I hope they didn't all jump out the windows.

After City's mashing the Spuds this week they will move seven points clear of Londons 4th club. Do you see this as a capitulation of your fleeting aspirations so early in the season?

    Indeed it could have been.
If the then owners were asking for a fiver, your small club would have been rendered to
an extinction footnote in football history (even Ken Bates was not mad enough to waste
that much on buying Chelsea) .

  9. Already, this thread has gained the reputation as being the place to come to in order to hand Skiddy back his ass.

Projection: A cursory examination of the league table shows them to already be 8 points clear of London's 4th club which is, of course, Chelsea (and I don't think they've ever been higher on the London big club list)

Is there a web translation facility I can use on the second 'sentence'? I'd hate to miss an opportunity to enlighten you, but I really can't turn that into English

I'm new to this but he seems to be making it easy for us deliberately. Is he just on bad form or is this par for the course?

  14. I know what you mean. There have been times when I have thought to myself, "Is Skiddy purposely pulling his pants down and bending over?"

Part of me wants to believe that, but unfortunately I know only too well that the truth is far more mundane - it's that the bloke is a halfwit.

I hope that clarifies everything for you, mate.

you said Ginger was a halfwit.

Powespurs said that was twice his current estimate.

    2 times a quarter is a half.

I will accept your apology Hiag as clearly numbers ain't your thang :)

  20. I know.

And twice a half is a whole.

You fall into these traps all the time, G4E!
