Personally think Jak was dealt a bad hand getting dropped after the Arsenal game... for conceding 4.. on that basis Marshall has to be dropped for conceding 5..... Also, Jak to my eye seems far more agile, hard to judge Marshall one game admittedly, but i'm pretty certain would have saved at least one of Milners pens.. what Jak also brings is the passion that saw the 12 through the first few weeks.. i'd rather have him in than out especially reading his stats ratio published the other day making him the best shot stopper out there..
Meanwhile, back at the ranch... Dusan Kuciak says 'I don't know why Hull City bought me' please log in to view this image http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/8203...y-bought-me/story-29758160-detail/story.html?
Marshall. No question at all. He was not at fault for the Liverpool game. In fact, he helped keep it down.
I'll be honest Dusan and say I don't know why the **** we bought you either. Completely pointless signing.
Marshall is the better keeper IMHO, shame for Jak but Marshall showed how good he was against Stoke, and tbf I don`t see what he could have done about any of the Liverpool goals, the defence got over run through our midfield not coping, poor bugger must have felt like he was in a coconut shy. Marshall has also proven opver the last few years how good he is in a fairly average Cardiff team.
Baloney...Jak would have saved 2-3 of those goals. Marshall never moved on two of them....rooted to the spot. There was a reason Cardiff let Marshall go and they are a bottom of the table Championship team. He's ok as long as the shots go straight at him or above him. But like McG he no longer has the agility to get down to shots in the corners...even slow rollers like Lailanas and Manes. Jak is always moving and anticipating. Jak should only be dropped to give Marshall some playing time in League Cup games.
My thinking is Greegsys back problem was well known but he soldiered on, hopefully to the end of the season. He lasted longer than we thought. We didnt have much money to spend for a 3rd choice. So Dusan gets bought as cover for Greegsys bad back. I saw him pre season. He looked alright made a good save at Grimsby, tipped onto the bar i think.
For what it's worth I was a little dissapointed in Marshall on Saturday. And the jak gets my vote for sat
You can't keep swapping goalies every time you lose! Jak needed to be replaced after Arsenal & Marshall deserved the start. He has to get a run going & it's unfortunate it's happened with all these "big" teams coming up. Saturday has to be: Marshall Snodge, Davies, Livermore, Maguire, Robbo Clucas, Mason, Meyler Abel H, Bob I'm hoping MP doesn't stick with a back 4 & bung Meyler at RB, or Weir for that matter.
On another note about this weekends game, I had a dream/vision of 2 sendings off.... For Chelski! We won 4-0, 2-0 up in under 5 minutes! Not changing my predictions though or putting a bet on it. Just a thought. Probably 100% bollocks.
I assume you're saying that because Meyler or Weir would be out of position at RB. That being the case, how is Snodgrass at right wing back any better Whatever we do we haven't got a right back or right wing back for this game and someone will have to play slightly out of position. The question is do you piss about with the formation and move your best attacking player into a more defensive role or do you trust Meyler to slot in and do a solid but unspectacular job and leave everyone else as they are?
