I wonder how many points we will be away from 9th by the time this weekend's round of matches are completed
I admire your confidence! Well - we did beat them 3-1 last season, although I'm sure you will recall that Klopp played a weakened side ahead of the Europa League match against Sevilla. That said, you can only play & beat what's in front of you
We need a huge slice of luck to get anything off Liverpool....You cant ignore the difference of form between the two clubs and you cant fail to see the diference in skill levels between the two managers......so only a lot of luck will see us ever getting near them.....
Sit back and invite them on and play for a draw and they will murder us. Give it a go and who knows. I can have a guess which one Guidolin will do.
Sadly with the pace Liverpool have we will be defending the best part of the game but like i said with a bit of luck we can at least try for a break away goal. Our defence must be on top of our game as that is where most of the action will take place.....
That's not entirely true is it. If we preform like we did against City then we have a good chance of getting something. At this level its hard to predict results. who would have guessed that Burnley would have beat Liverpool after our game......... not many Thing that worries me is, sit deep and invite them into our half all game then there's only going to be one outcome.
Do you really think we played well against Man City ? I dont...as i so was a man city side in full control without playing to their potential but once they went up just one gear they over ran us.....Liverpool will probably rest one or two players and will still have enough to win and i bet they wont have to go up the gears to win either.
Dai if you actually watched the game we could have easily got a result against City and a fair result would have been a draw IMO. They took the lead with a dubious penalty similar to the one we were refused earlier in the game. And their third came after we committed too many foreword. I know you like to use stats, Swans had more shots on target 5-4 and they blocked 5 shots two of which were destined to go in. You're being unrealistic to the point of delusional to think that we're going to dominate City. I can't believe you can't see that the penalty changed the game and that we were punished by a clinical team who took their chances well.
I'm counting on Klopp playing a weakened side in arrogance and stinging them ....Hope "unchained " But hope all the same .Their manager and players will be looking to next game is my theory taff
genuinely think this is the game we **** up (after a good run from the burnley game), a win for us here will go a long way to building confidence against other **** sides going forward commence the games
That is what im hoping for roof but i dont think he will risk resting too many players and the ones he has will be on the bench ready to take over if things are not going well.....Our best option is damage limitation and to defend well and hope for a breakaway goal.......We did that at Southampton last season and we won......But if they score an early goal then the flood gates will open as we will have to go for an equalizer and leave us wide open...
