I seem to remember people saying the same when Benny was about to be sacked. NW came in and changed our results. No I am not expecting a new manager to turn us into promotion winners, I just want someone in that will stop us getting relegated. Sorry Watford, we cannot put the club's future in a guess. The bloke is taking us down. You like statistics, I have read he has a worse record than Benny How can anyone with half a footballing brain can think that JFH is doing a good job is beyond me.
If the question is 'do we want a nasty, aging, probably corrupt, vindictive, egoistic, retired more times than Frank Sinatra, hypocritical, eyebrowless twat as our manager' the answer has to be Colin ****er.
I take on board your comments, but I'd rather have that than 'I am as clueless as Ramsey, don't know my best team, don't know my best formation, I'll probably take this lot down twat' such as we have now.
Just broadening the debate Sheff. I would just like someone, anyone, to inject a bit of dignity back into our club at all levels, regardless of results. Someone who can turn our fans into real supporters rather than perma whingers, ready to seize on every negative That person certainly isn't Warnock, he is not acquainted with the concept of dignity.
Is he supposed to be a striker himself? How embarrassing must it be in the changing room after every game .. And still no goal for Washington!
Ramsey looks good to me. Not sure why we got rid of him. It's an embarrassment to SLF to have his man doing even worse!
Give him until early December Midfield is improving We knew we had 0 strikers Then get a manager and a striker Dec/Jan We won't be down before Christmas & most of us see some shoots of improvement I don't understand why we haven't borrowed some 18 year old strikers from the London elite Give them 15 mins at the end of every game until one of them scores then give them another game
Have to agree with what Stoller said about some of our fans want JFH to fail.........it was the same with Ramsey, there was almost glee when he departed.......I must admit I don't get this thought process that we have a devine right to beat everyone and calls for the managers head on a platter every time we lose.......we are what we are, a midish table club having to recover from 4 years of utter stupidity by various Managers and a kid in sweetie shop owner.......... ......and with respect lads, those who want Warnock back, if he's so fecking good why is he not working at the moment and hasn't been since he walked out of Rotherham at the end of last season?
Understand entirely your comment re Warnock and dignity. He may not have any, but he could bring a bit of it to us fans by giving us a team that doesn't roll over. We have no pride at the moment and that saddens me the most. Away from home we are beaten before the ball is kicked and at home it is little better. I will never change my allegiances but **** me, when you see the dross that we are playing (and to be fair to JFH) and have been for some time, it makes me wonder why I stick by the Rs. I hate questioning myself, but I know I am not alone. I have a mate who has been going to LR for 30+ plus years, most of them as a ST holder. He gave up supporting us 18 months ago due to the crap that we were being served week in week out. Personally, I couldn't do it, but I can completely understand why he did it.
Marginally. Were you at the Preston game? And as for the game on Saturday against the Ruperts...........................
Cannot understand how any fan would want us to fail, so find those comments hard to digest. Surely we all want QPR to thrive and most importantly win games. Sadly though once again we seem to have picked a dud. It is shocking that he never really addressed the striker situation, in fact, it was criminal that he didn't bring one in. It's not hard, even lesser teams seem to managed to bring in a striker (even loan ones) that can score. How hard is it to work out that goalscorers win you games! Even with an average defence and midfield a goal scorer will win you games. However people can say what they what but JFH is walking on thin ice and that has come from the press.
Yes and it was **** but I still don't remember leaving that game feeling as crap about things as after Vauxhall Motors or losing 5-0 at Forest or Southend or any of the other countless crap performances of the last 20 years. You can't hold Saturday against Hasselbaink yet as it's not happened yet. We might even not lose. We might even win.
We could bring in Pep, and six months down the line we'd still be drawing with Wigan at home and losing 2-0 to Rotherham.
True, but they seemed like 'blips' rather than the continuous dirge we are seeing week in week out now. Hindsight is a wonderful thing I suppose................ Additionally back then we were skint and had few expectations, things have changed somewhat.
We're still skint, the only thing that has changed is the stupid level of expectation. I thought this would be a transitional season so had little expectation other than more of the same, on that level I can't be disappointed...
I think people still have a right to expect a better style of football though it seems Birmingham and Burton were steps in the right direction. People will be pissed off with any defeat at Fulham more so than would normally be the case for losing at an average side. Lose meekly and the knives will rightly be out.
The 5-0 away to Southend certainly didn't seem like a blip! Nor did the following season (I think it was) getting thrashed away to West Brom & Colchester in consecutive games, which saw the end of the John Gregory reign. Nor did the run of defeats under Waddock. It wasn't a blip either after the magical month of MacGilton, followed by Hart & Harford. That was three months of sheer despreration that would have ended in relegation if Warnock hadn't been brought in. We also show far more fight & determination under JFH than we ever did away from home under Hughes & Redknapp! Am I happy with JFH? Not completely. I'm still waiting (apart from the Leeds match) to see our "high pressing" game. I'm still waiting to see variations in our play. I'm still waiting for us to be more adventurous. However, I'm fed up with changing the manager every six months. There is not one person available who you could guarentee would improve us. NOT ONE! Our club is far healthier today than it has been for a number of years. That is progress. Of course I may be wrong, but the chances of relegation seem very remote to me. That wasn't the case between season 2005/06 & season 2009/10. I have to agree that the Preston game was absymal & was the worst I can remember at Loftus Road since losing to Bolton just after the Chelsea defeat in 1970. However, I can't remember the last season when we didn't have at least one home game that wasn't atrocious. That includes the Warnock promotion season as well.
