Can you believe that the mackems still want BS back? Some of them say he hasn't done much wrong ffs. Can you imagine the abuse he'd get from other fans?

Not forgetting that BS left them in the lurch for his 'dream job' a mere few weeks before the start of the new season.

    Are they that desperate? <laugh>

Not forgetting that they employed, on a four year contract I believe, a much-respected manager to pick up the pieces of BS's departure?

Are the mackems really that slimy? <we know the answer to that one>

    Get 'em told Comm!

When you say ex manager, you mean leaving the job to become england manager? I just meant, we had managers that went on to become england managers in their career or were england managers before coming to us. As in fat sam... BrollyMac the Mesiah and Sir Bobby Robson

Short answer - yes they are. It would be a PR nightmare, but it terms of cold hard logic, it makes perfect sense.

If Moyes keeps up this dross up to Christmas, the writing will be on the wall, they'll need someone to come in quickly turn things around keep them up, and the ideal candidate will be the person who came in last season, quickly turned things around and kept them. Not only that he'll be available for free and desperate to come on board.

Sad to say, but with the amount of money for staying in the Prem, even Fatty Bung Man will be in demand. One of Lawro's tedious clichés was "Big Sam guarantees Premiership survival", and unfortunately plenty still think that.

It all makes sense....but hang on, if West 'Am keep messing things up, might not they want BS to replace Billic?

After all, he spent four seasons there, they are a better prospect than the mackems, bigger stadium and not as much of a yo-yo club.

Plus, he wouldn't have to live in Pennywell!!!!

The often-mentioned Gareth Southgate (the new saviour) is in charge for four games apparently.

    They always wanted him....

Fat Sam back to West Ham? I'd be astounded if that happens, he was massively unpopular there and they were overjoyed when he left. West Ham have had problems adjusting to their new stadium, and Billic should turn things around, he's popular with the fans so I can't see him leaving any time soon. Fatty Bung-Taking, ****-Talking, Rule-Bending, Sacked After One Match, Dull Football Playing Beached Whale would be huge step backwards for them.

If any PL club takes him on regardless of their circumstances, said club is a bit of a joke. He's scum.

Hopefully he'll slink off to the Far East etc where he can't sully the game here. Or better still be ostracised from the football community entirely.

Sunderland won't re-employ him I think. They've had enough bad publicity with the whole Johnson affair and their poor handling of it. They won't won't want to lurch into another disaster. He didn't exactly do the dirty on them when he left but he and the FA did leave them in a bad situation.

I can't see how any English club would want to be associated with him. Plus look at the lack of real remorse, he has already started with the "I might take another job" "I was entrapped" bullshit. Yes you were Sam, but that doesn't mean you're not a low life because you got exposed for what you really are. No doubt in my mind this guy has taken money previously.

I tell you what if Rafa was shown to be one of these 10 I'd want him out immediately and never working in this country or football again. If we just keep this "its not that bad" attitude, it' will never stop. It makes me cringe and laugh. The same folk saying he's done nothing wrong are the ones who happily jump all over FIFA for their corrupt practices. Just because its not illegal, doesn't make it right for the game.

Is this not a great opportunity for the FA?

They could use this as the reason to take back control of the game in this country. They could point to the lack of governance from the PL regarding transfers and agents. They could cut the agents off at the legs, and force the PL to fall in line with newly implemented rules. **** even get the government on board and involved.

Not gonna happen of course as they are weak as piss but I'd love to see them show some teeth and use this hot potato to **** over the whole PL bubble. ****s the of them.

Get some salary caps going. Maybe even introduce a draft. <laugh><laugh>

I've never understood why agents are just given a set amount out of any deal and governed by the FA. They just run amok.

Once you start paying people with caps then we're right back at square one, with a dodgy England manager <yikes>

It's going to come out that some referees and their assistants have been on the take since the start of the PL. Just watch. The game in this country has been riddled with corruption ever since it became big business. This is the tip of a very big iceberg.

The problem here is corruption no? You aren't going to get rid of that as it's human nature. You might be able to change who is getting the bung or how they get it but people will always try to grease palms and find ways around the system to get ahead and people will always like easy money in return for a bit of corner cutting or looking the other way.

Indeed I'm just looking at an angle to wipe out the PL power which has royally ****ed the game and national team in this country while the FA has sat idly by - any angle <laugh>

Just seems nuts that a board poster has what seems to be a real desire to change it (and you're not alone), yet there's not a man jack of 'em at the FA or any power position with that same interest.

They are **** scared that the Premier League will take their ball and go and play somewhere else. Whether they actually would or not is another question, but it would take a big pair of bollocks to call their bluff - something sadly lacking in the FA.

This is the threat and the crux of the issue. Would they take the PL on an international tour to all 4 corners of the world? Would they just start a European super league? Its discussed often enough to scare the bejesus out of the FA meaning the status quo will be maintained. The premier league is ****e. In the early days it had something special about it. We've ****ed it all up though and its not that great a league these days. I watched a bit Bundesliga recently. I'd always thought it was ****. I have to admit thought the games were high tempo, a good standard and the atmospheres were fantastic. La Liga I can take or leave, Ligue 1 the same. Now and again there is an absolute barnstormer in the PL but I suppose you can say that about any league.

The money has just corrupted everything. I don't even know if its an English league I'm watching these days. There's hardly any English players on the pitch.
