Google nexus 7 for me. Couple of years old now but a great bit of kit.

 

I've been thinking about getting a tablet but not sure what one would be most suitable. All I really need it for is YouTube and possibly Skype later on.

Trying to learn the guitar with all the distractions of the family is tricky as the kids need to get onto the PC for homework and I can't play with earphones in the amp and hear what is on the tutorial. If I had a tablet I could play in the bedroom and no, I wouldn't be using it to jerk off to filth as it would be on the same Wi-Fi connection that we use which is full of parental controls.

I'm considering taking lessons and a lot of the local tutors offer cheaper Skype lessons instead of one to one teaching so that would be an option.

Not worth the cost of an I-Pad, maybe something cheap and Chinese would do the trick, Lenovo or Asus maybe?
