Hoddle's just rang me and said that Allardyce is being punished for being a coaching cripple in a past life.
Holy **** this is more embarrassing than those African FAs who don't pay players or managers and keep chaning out every 4 months. 1 Game!! Are they just gonna call back whoever they said no to during that elaborate interview process? Sir Alan arise. Bljad.
Interesting fact - the shortest 3 England manager tenures have all managed nufc. Fat same 1 game Keegan 18 games McLaren 18 games What a class fact.
Surely more managers have managed england as well as newcastle in their career than any other club in england? ... Or maybe west ham? At least in recent times. Pards is bound to get his 5 min in the limelight too...eventually.
This is ridiculous but no way he could stay. Shown himself up to be a proper twit. Just playing billy big bollox as usual. Who exactly are they going to get now!?
Fat Sam was always an undignified twat. He just lacks class, and even though the FA seems like a plastic institution run by no names, at least they realise the position requires a certain standard of behaviour that - lets be honest' big sam was always going to struggle to maintain. Ultimately I'd like to see Wenger as england manager, he'd get us playing. But maybe he's too old now. Can't think of a single english manager worthy of the job. Hell, Pardew is probably the most deserving. But he too would struggle to maintain proper decorum. Pards would probably go and headbutt Berty Vogts when England is 3-1 up to Liechtenstein.
Beaten by Iceland, manager sacked, new manager leaves by mutual consent after one game. All in the space of a few months. The England national team is a bigger joke than we could ever had feared.
**** it. If the FA has any balls they go and poach Chris Coleman. Then sack him after we lose to whoever. At least Villa conceeded in the last minute. They ain't getting out of this league anytime soon.
This got my nerdy, statto radar going so I just compiled the full list In terms of clubs whose Ex-manager went on to become England Manager, then the club with the most is Fulham, who have had three ex managers become England Manager. They are the only club on three. The following clubs have all had two ex-managers become England manager: Ipswich Town Aston Villa Manchester City Leeds United West Ham United Newcastle United Notts County Roma Blackburn Rovers. Some of the clubs who have only had one ex manager become England manager are so weird it is unbelievable, but there are 48 of them so I'm not listing them all!!! If you include clubs that Ex-England managers have gone on to manage afterwards, as well as the above list, then Newcastle and Man City have the joint most with four. Fulham and Leeds United both have three. The list of clubs on two becomes: Ipswich Town Aston Villa West Ham United Notts County Roma Blackburn Rovers Barcelona Lincoln City Wolverhampton Wanderers Crystal Palace Tottenham Hotspur Middlesbrough Sunderland Shanghai Nottingham Forest 56 clubs are on one. Yes - I'm a geek!!!
