    2 things there;

Firstly, I can only speak for myself here - but if Pete had have objected to the stuff posted about his house etc, then I'd have left it there.

Secondly, it can only be private if it's not aired or made known on here. Pete has chosen to lay his entire life bare it seems, and doesn't give a **** (which you admit), so therefore it is fair game to pass comment on it and it crosses the line back into banter.

If he posted anonymously and we'd somehow unearthed his real life details and then posted them, then you'd have a point, as it is, you don't.

The rules, and normal social graces, even on a forum, don't give you those permissions.

Actually they do - hence why there are gagging orders on the media, because once something is in the public domain - ie like the name and details of the people involved in a attack or crime, then in a legal sense they are no longer considered 'private information' because anyone can access that information if they want.

All people are doing here is reposting information that Peter himself has originally made public himself. So if you want to have a go at anyone for disrespecting his privacy then by your own warped logic you should be having a go at him! Unless you want to attack anyone whose visited his website, read that article, looked at his profile page on here, or even seen any page he's commented on - as every single on has his name on it - posted by him!

Justifying the cowardly hypocrisy is your prerogative. <ok>

Others make stuff public on here, there's a fair chance you have. I doubt you'd be as happy to receive similar style treatment.

My god your idiotic argument is ridiculous and is making you look seriously stupid and pig headed I'm afraid. I can't believe how you can't see that. Or if you can, how you think it's a good strategy to adopt, it's mind boggling!

Don't you just love the twat once he climbs up on his high horse of sanctimony. Desperately scrabbling for the moral high ground?

Only a hypocritical coward would try to justify victimisation.

It's like a man pushing a stone up a hill for eternity, what's his name, Sisyphus (thanks Google) - the more he attempts to get on his moral high horse the deeper he digs himself into a hole, and the further away he gets!

Three cowardly hypocrites with an over inflated view on the value of their 'opinion'.

Now I don't agree with using Pete's details as a stick to beat him with on here. However, I do question his stupidity at laying his personal life bare on the internet. I do wonder about his motives for doing so, but that is up to him.

I answered the question directly. You've now added to your hypocrisy by telling people what they're thinking.
Would you care to add any more to the ever-growing list?

My guess would be that it's not actually Peter Saxton behind the profile.

If it is, I hope for his sake that none of his clients are members of this forum!

I dread to think how quickly it's rising up the Google search for his name, either way.

How do you know? I don't read most of his stuff, so I don't really know.
Posting all of his personal information on his profile strikes me as quite odd, if it is him.

He posts under his real name on a few accounting forums as well, and you only have to read the posts to know it's the same fella.

(I'd post the links to a few, but someone might accuse me of breaching Pete's human rights <laugh>)

    Google is your friend....

Why the abusive remarks just beause what I've written is perfectly reasonable and you know it. Especially since I've given a straight forward opinion without getting in to the tit for tat posts of earlier.

As for the rest of your post, read what I've written. Peter has voluntarily given his OWN personal details. He also professes to be the leader of a political party. If EITHER of those applied to anyone else I would say the same. I really don't understand why everyone else understands that except you?

Or is it that you do understand, and accept it but are afraid to acknowledge it simply because you've entrenched yourself in some misguided allegiance to someone ON everything simply because he shares your views on Brexit? The trouble is you're now arguing on a point which is unrelated and quite frankly irrational. It really does scupper you as a good poster tbh.
